First things first, let's talk about timing. Colorado Springs has four distinct seasons, each offering its own unique appeal. For those dreamy fall colors that will take your breath away, consider planning your elopement for October, just like Kyla and Ben did! The crisp air and vibrant colors were everywhere and provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.

Choosing the Perfect Elopement Location in Colorado Springs

Location is key! Colorado Springs is home to a ton of gorgeous venues and natural landscapes that are sure to steal your heart. Imagine exchanging vows right in the midst of the jaw-dropping Garden of the Gods, with those massive red rocks making your love story even more epic. Or how about tying the knot at Seven Falls, surrounded by all that lush greenery and those majestic waterfalls? And let's not forget about The Broadmoor, where Kyla and Ben had their dreamy elopement celebration! Whether you're all about that rugged mountain charm or you're craving some botanical garden vibes, Colorado Springs has got you covered.

Most the time elopements are all about intimacy and connection, so if you want you can keep your guest list small and intimate. Kyla and Ben opted to have their siblings as witnesses, keeping the focus on their love and the moment they shared together. For them, it was about crafting a meaningful and memorable experience that authentically reflected who they are as a couple. To personalize your elopement, consider incorporating elements that hold significance to both of you, whether it's a favorite location, shared hobbies, or meaningful vows exchanged in a secluded spot. Embrace your uniqueness as a couple and let it shine throughout your special day.

Capturing Authentic Moments

When it comes to capturing your big day, trust is everything! As a candid and documentary-style photographer, I'm all about letting those moments just happen and snapping up the genuine, raw emotions that make your story stand out. Kyla and Ben totally put their faith in me to capture their special moments, and the results were amazing! Letting the day naturally unfold results in images that are authentically you, capturing the true essence of your love story in ways posed shots simply can't match.

Creating Memories After "I Do"

After saying "I do," Kyla and Ben returned to their hotel room at the Broadmoor for an outfit change, cake, and champagne. It was such a fun vibe and relaxed way to celebrate their newlywed status and soak in the magic of the moment.

What’s so great about Colorado Springs is that they have so many options for couples to celebrate their day. You can venture out for a romantic dinner at one of the city's charming restaurants, such as The Famous Steak House or The Rabbit Hole. Or for a more adventurous experience, you can explore the breathtaking scenery of Garden of the Gods or even take a scenic drive up to Pikes Peak for panoramic views!

As for accommodations, besides the iconic Broadmoor, you can also consider staying at the luxurious Cheyenne Mountain Resort or the quaint Cliff House at Pikes Peak for a cozy retreat. With so much to see and do in Colorado Springs, your post-elopement celebration is sure to be one for the books!
