The California coast is full of amazing places for engagement photos and wedding photos. I'm so thankful I had the chance to grow up exploring all of the places I get to shoot at now! There are tons of hidden coves and secret beaches that most people don't know of. We had the best time running around, getting to all of the best spots before the sunset! The central coast has every kind of atmosphere you could hope for. From the ocean to mountain views, to rolling fields and amazing sand dunes. You won't have a problem finding a beautiful place for your California wedding photos!

We started their session under the mountains in San Luis Obispo. It was a perfect, sunny afternoon and Amanda and Garrett loved the perfect weather. The central coast is famous for it, and it's definitely worth visiting for your engagement photos or wedding photos.

After we finished at our first location, we went to one of my all-time favorite spots: Montaña de Oro! It has the perfect mix of epic ocean views and stunning cliffs, it's really the perfect spot for engagement photos!

To end the session, we chased the sunset to one of those secret spots I've mentioned. We got there at the perfect time, with just enough golden hour left to get the photos we wanted, and then some bonus time to enjoy blue hour! One of my favorite things about shooting by the ocean at sunset is getting that natural grain in photos. It really communicates how romantic these moments are, it feels like you're there too.
